This original Art Nouveau and Victorian inspired illustration portrays Lady Liberty transformed into Lady Justice, standing resolute before the iconic Tenaya Canyon in Yosemite National Park. She has cast aside her crown and torch, now lying extinguished at her feet, and instead holds golden scales before her and a sword above her head. Her classical style robes are accented with a sash in the colors of the transgender pride flag, indicating that minorities will not passively watch while human rights crumble around them. With a fierce, unblindfolded gaze, she rejects impartial detachment in favor of conscious accountability. Now is not the time to blindly stand by and expect justice. Now is the time to fight for the rights of the American people and the very land that is threatened by greed and over consumption.
