This original Art Nouveau style illustration features a woman reclining in a flowing blue-green gown, delicately holding a pair of scissors in one hand while reclining in a in a wooden chair. A black cat sleeps in the folds of her gown, and she appears to have just made the decision to cut her dress as to not disturb his sleep when she stands. The scene is inspired by my sister and her cat Sonic, featuring her favorite flowers, and exemplifying the love between cat and owner.
