A black cat sleeps nestled in the folds of her gown, and she appears to have just made the decision to cut her dress as to not disturb his sleep when she stands. Surrounded by ornate floral motifs such as snowdrops above and thistles along the sides, the scene blends natural elegance with a hint of humor.
